Live and let others live….! What if there is no tomorrow’s…?

Life is a bizzarious journey sometimes what it holds to us is absolutely unpredictable than any dreams, thoughts and plans. Here we literally needed a guts to take all the situations with a delicate sense of humour. Yet that won’t happen in the real case, we most often take every circumstances in a complicated way like ” To cross a bridge before it comes” to worry excessively about something that not happened so far. We already not resolved the problems happening currently and at the same time over conciously planning the one that may or may not happen, is it fair..?

“Stop crying because it’s over and relax you gone through it”

If you have taken a wrong turn we can reverse, but in life there is no reverse gear. No matter whatever happens even if world comes crashing down their is no stoppage in life we need to move on till the end.

Yesterday was a draining day for you with full of arguments, contradictions and efforts. Tomorrow should be a day to ease and relax even so what happens if there is no tomorrow to regret, to enjoy and to plan.? Each day we will think i will do better next day and the coming days but the brutal reality of life is that each day is a chance given by you, it is a privilege from God. Everything can change in a moment. Then why such arrogance, attitudes, jealousy, over pride, competition and betrayals.?

If your overpride is on the basis of wealth you accumulated, successful childrens, successful family, social status, reputation etc… You may forget one thing like coin with two sides life also turns to both sides, wealth and prosperity is not constant. There is no constant luck, it changes when time comes. Don’t estimate a person on the basis of his current situation. At present he is in a drowning stage, tomorrow he might become a successful person he ever dreamed. Not only in the case of wealth but also achievements. From rags to riches, from failure to success, from a home maker to an entrepreneur, from an employee to an employer, from a hovel to a castle, from a traumatic life to a fairy tale life rising trend will always inevitable.

While talking about relations we usually thinks let him or her confess first, let her apologise first, let her call first, message first.. we are adamant in our atitude and it breaks a beautiful relation. We don’t know what exactly going on in their life, we never asked and didn’t tried to understand other’s problem our action is only based on a string of assumptions. Take a call first if somebody is in danger, in difficult periods and stand with them if possible.

Don’t show over empathy on anyone’s situation, like i said about the life’s turns every one have an equal or probable chance to end up same. In this day and age we can’t guarantee tomorrow’s existance then how can we guarantee a constant success..?

To humilate someone or spreading scandals against an establishment in order to damage their reputation is very easy in this popular world a public social media post is enough for that. Do you show the same eagerness and support to spread someone’s talents and success in a public platform….? only legends can do…!!!

The most disclosed transactional behaviour among individuals is ” I am ok, You are not ok”. Individuals wish to hold superiority is always backing in each and every decisions. What i said and expressed is correct but you are wrong; i deserve better life you won’t; i deserve happiness you won’t, a kind of contemptuous behaviour which is common among people.

Researchers reveal that 6.2 % of population affects these transactional traits. Women have the most visible trait compared with men because they are more emotional expressive than men. While supporting the same gender she is always take a backseat ,the heart breaking reality is that sometimes a women is the big hindrance for the freedom and happiness of another women’s life.

Let me clear it with an example, if there is a violence or injustice happened to a woman at home or workplace no one is ready to interfere especially women’s in the same circle because of the fear of consequences. 50 to 60% of body shaming messages are passed by a woman to an another woman. If she try to own a stage with her intelligent, smartness and confidence the others thinks it as show off, instead of encouraging her they ascertain the situation as a demonstration by her inorder to seek attention and misinterpret as high atitude. When it comes to knock down a women’s reputation her own representatives act as a FBI agent to spread gossips.

As a woman we would respect our fellow women too. Being a mother how she respect and care her own daughter the same way she have to respect others daughter too. Stop imparities and stood for each other. Become a voice that can be heared. Let us overcome the tradition of silence and support each women.

While taking about life and individuals , i wonder where i started and where it gonna be end, like a miles and miles of never ending occean there is no extremity.

We all are travelling to an unknown destiny with survival is the goal, hope is the fuel, ups and downs as firing triggers. Mean while the experiences and situations will change according to individuals. Along the path we face a lot of unavoidable situations and heart breaking incidents which we named as karma, faith, God’s plan … whatever may be yet we realised it was all we could do and we done.

Each individuals who is born in the earth have to go through the same track nothing more or nothing less, they are our fellow travellers. Then why such needless assumptions and indefensible efforts towards the one who is also struggling to meet the ends same like you..?. Next day if we trying to hurt others feelings remember you are spoiling your own extended group, your own fellow beings and the common humanity.

Be credible to yourself and your life when uncertainities hits your back. If you are good as a human then only you would understand the feeling of others. Spread splendour of happiness and care towards others. Don’t intentionally break others and make them suffer for your personal agendas. We don’t know what exactly happening in their life we never walked through their path to experience and realise their struggles. It takes seconds to hurt others, though years to heal the wound.

At any point of life we seriously regret our misdeeds and really need to apologise, but life didn’t give you a second chance it might be a baggage and incompleteness to your soul. No future to be certain or promised, think this reality before you create obstacles in others life.

If you have the right to live happy and peaceful life then why not others..? Remember world doesn’t revolve around you, you are revolving around the world.

Some sort of grudges and disagreements are common in everyone’s life because each individuals are different. If it exceed the limit, the better and smart decision is to stay away from them instead of creating conspiracies, and manipulative theories to put an end to someone’s life and their dreams is a complete reflection of your wild nature. Stop engaging in such kind of outrageous movements.

Focus on your life and happy with what you have now, may be others have more luxuries than you that doesn’t mean you won’t get it believe in the magic of time. Instead of feeling jealous work hard and improve yourself.

Celebrate each moment of life and start living without any conditions. “My life would be tuff, my choices would be wrong, my lessons would be hard yet i am thankful to this today for making myself better than yesterday since i know not everyone get a today to live, to dream and to hope”.

Real spirituality begins from our home and arise in our mind…!

God a miracle, a wonder, a myth,a universal truth, an energy..etc, it goes on. However everyone have their own opinion to differentiate God on the basis of how they feel. I am not pointing out the controversies and assumptions regarding the existence of God. The simple thing i want to let you all know is that, a business man see God in the form of investors, a sales person see God in the form of customers, we all are seen God in the form of parents, friends, well wishers etc. Whenever we need a help an individual come up with a hand to support he or she is the God in real life.

It is said in the earlier scripts and religious books God exist in the place where peace and harmony go hand in hand. If this is the case then there should not be any trace of God in this world. A complete phase of arrogance and self centered theories are the motives of today’s individuals. A kind of rivalry game is going on across humanity. Whatever happening to people around them is not their concern, they need gain and success, their children and their family should always been in top. For that they create chaos in others life . If the same injustice and insult happen to your family and your kids will you be silent..?

You can enjoy pain and suffering of others and demands only happiness for yourself, what a sadistic approach..? Do this kind of people exist ;..i wonder though. This hippocratic people should realise one thing ; every individuals life is depend on their faith and destiny which is decided by God. If a person live a King size life, it is because of his karma and fortune. Don’t need to take any credit on anyone’s destiny. If gain and success is written in someone’s life journey he will get it even if world around him comes and stop also. If you are not ready to help others at least don’t hurt others.

A home is a place where the individuals and society is created. If a home is filled with joy and happiness the Goddess of fortune herself enter into that home. The same way if the home is filled with arguments, fights, disrespect and injustice all the fortunes are gone from that home there is no effect of any extended prayers and offerings. In short, spirituality starts from home, make our home a heaven by respecting everyone irrespective of any age, possition and norms. Self respect is not an elders only concept. It is the right and identity of every individuals.

Our prayers is always for our own self centric needs because we are human beings and we can’t compromise our intentions. But if our selfishness cross the limit and it forces us to harm others by doing any unethical things in the name of God is a kind of outrageous behaviour. For example if we started cursing and praying to God; please destroy my enemy, destroy his business, his marriage life, his wealth, his peaceful life; do you think is it possible…? If this is the case then there is no need of war and weapons. We all are sit together and pray to God to destroy our enemy. What an idiotic approach is this..? and how extend the purity of prayers has been altered and manipulated by some peoples.

Most of the people needed sudden results for that, they utilize God and his ideologies in a wrongful way in order to gain their success. The gain achieved by deceitful ways will not last, they guarantee only temporary benefits. God will surely answer to your prayers if you have purity in your mind, may be results took little time but it will last forever. There is no imparity in God’s hand he treat every one same. Find God in yourself and others around you. God is kind, God is care, God is within the people who become a helping hand and comfort to others without any conditions, without any discernment, and without any expectations.

Our existance is not based on the possessions we are holding. Life is a qualitative concept not a quantitative measurement If we live a long period without holding any quality and faithfulness you will remain a raw concept forever.

These battle for opportunistic life makes you more rebel and hampers your peace. The people around you are happy then only you will become happy. The real spirituality teaches how one should be detached by egocentric way of life and closer to humanity through serenity and care.

“I tried, tried really hard but can’t make it” common confession everyone put up after endless effort.

A real set back in life is after being disappointed by several failures, we start to lose hope in everything. However we ignore the fact that every disappointments makes you more stronger than before.

Napoleon Hill, in his book; Think and grow rich, referred to ” Three feet from gold”. These analogy comes from the story of a young man who in search of treasure with definite motives went to dig gold. After weeks of labour, he was rewarded by the discovery of the shinning ore. Heavy and costly machineries are needed to bring the ore to the surface. His relatives and neighbours together helped him to bring costly machineries. The first car of ore was mined and got rich return. Again few more cars of the ore to dig . His expectations went to hike but unfortunately something happened. The vein of gold ore disappeared. They had come to the end of the rainbow and the pot of gold was no longer seen there. They drilled on desperately trying to pick up the vein again but all attempts failed. Finally he quit and sold all machineries to a junk man and disappeared. This junk man had some other plans in his mind. He called mining engineer to do a little bit calculation in the mine. His calculations showed a shocking reality, that the treasure of gold would be found “Just Three Feet From Where the Former had Stopped Drilling.” That is exactly where it was found.

The Junk man took millions of dollars from the mine, because he knew enough to seek expert counsel before giving up. We can relate our life with this incident. Before success comes to our life we sure meet this kind of adversities and unexpected situations, in that point our mind easily accept failure and ready to quit. The expectations and willpower should be in peek, when we started approaching different ideas in our life. Gradually we felt disappointed when reality hits back and become frozen. If we take a look at most successful persons, there life changing decisions are come from this frozen moment, where they took a courageous step to make impossible possible. It takes great delight and thrill in tripping on when success is almost reach and we realised the fact that nothing can put an end to our effort until we obtain success.

Most of the people looked upon the negative part of their life full of miseries, failure, defeat, insecurity, poverty etc. Once we approach a supreme decision in life these adversities pull our mind and also seize the memory, which stop us to react in a functional way and make as feared to act, because of expecting the same defeat we had gone through. So individually we think the most easiest and logical respond is to quit. But remember success will not come to a quitter, who feared to take challenges and always seek comfort.

The strength comes from the point we realised that we are alone, our problems, our failures, our insecurities are ours only and we only have to step out from this hardship, which gives you a willpower that is something unbeatable. That realisation is our spirit to thrive hard and hard for our existance.

Failure and defeat is not a permanent visitor of once life, it is fluctuating according to time. There should always be a hope or a burning desire which act as a driving force to get along with all uncertainities. These burning desire comes from the moment we fall down and lose our spark, open to insults, chained with struggles. Our drops of tear, sweat and hardwork will turned as a fuel for the burning fire inside us.

Start from the point you loss everything because that is the point we can do anything without any expectations. If you consider every situations as life and death matter you can’t live happily it only increases your pressure not pleasure.

Before going to quit first believe in yourself and your capabilities. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop from your mission. Take your time, there is no time frame for any achievements. Doing something challenging is better than not doing anything. Stay focused and don’t allow to lose your hope, sometimes we will not get any closure we just move on, our laughters give us reason to hope and tears give us reason to fight back.

How to maintain hope, when difficulties knocking your door.?

1. Accept the reality

Sometimes we feel that, why it just happened to me always?. But the reality is not the way you think. Now adversities and troubles playing in your court tomorrow it would be some others court. Nothing permanent and no one is escape from the natural phenomenon of loss and gain.

2. Stop expectations and believe in yourself, ignore criticisms and try to develop yourself.

Expectations are ruling this world. I would tell a simple example. Our social medias are competing for subscribers and followers. A persons identity is determined by how many subscribers and followers he have not about the quality of content he had created. Sometimes those who are invest their time and effort in those platforms may lose hope and they started withdrawing. These virtual world is always look for finding a way to judge others. It’s very difficult to get appreciation from others yet easy to get criticism from others. This is the reality of human nature, we can’t change it but one thing we can do is to stop expecting from others and start moving. Try to maintain your spark no matter others turned to push you down, if you are a diamond you will sure rise and shine when time arrives.

3. Invest your time with positive peoples

Positive peoples are life long energy. They influence as with a courageous and trustworthy nature, it will increase our hope.

4. Try to express your emotions when it goes extreme, and invest your time for what you feel good and makes you happy. If you are happy a ray of hope always show a presence in your mind.

5. Nothing is impossible if you have a confident in yourself. Wear confident in each and every walks of life. If you are confident you sure know one day you will achieve what you wish and that hope will make you work harder.

6. Don’t seek perfection in each and every moves of life. Life is a trial and error method. Failure is better than not trying anything.

Hope is a trigger to continue our reckless journey. Learn and enjoy each and every part of life, aim for the sky but move slowly don’t accept your defeat hurriedly push yourself harder to leave no stones unturned. At the end you don’t have any regrets, excuses, explanations because you are not a quitter, you are a complete challenger.

A regret free evergreen life, is it a dream or reality..?

The sedentary winter morning awaken through misty dews, rising sun bestowed a tiny warmth over icy dawn. Payal got up from the cozy bed and looked out of the window. As usual Mr Tanwar started walking, he waved an energetic good morning towards her. It’s being years she is seeing Mr Tanwar, a widower in his late 60s staying alone in a luxury apartment with his pet dog Ollie.

He is one of the happiest person in their locality. Irrespective of his age Mr Tanwar looks healthy as well as young and always evergreen. Payal consider him as a mentor. Whenever she talks to him a kind of liberating feeling awaken from her inner mind and a positive energy is uplifting her, it seems like her string of adversities are vanishing like a melting ice berg.

Payal seriously wanted to know the secret of Mr Tanwar’s life. Eventhough they are sharing good bond yet she didn’t asked him about his personal life. Ultimately she showed some courage to quizz him with her impeccable thoughts.

Like every individuals Mr Tanwar also had a distinct past. As a Colonel in Indian Army he had served 30 years for the country. While coming back after dutiful years of service he had lots of plan for his family, for his wife, for the society. But faith had some other motives, it happens over our calculations. His wife died in a car crash which made him inconsolable. His world came crashing down when he realised the pain ful fact that he is being left alone after the death of wife, as they don’t have an offspring.

The saddened twist and turns of life shattered him to the extreme. Yet his strong mind didn’t allow him to succumb failure. He know how to handle adversities during his valorous regime period onwards. He faced all his misfortunes with an eccentric sense of humour.

Mr Tanwar is the representative of millions of peoples over there who living a gangbuster life during their autumn years without any terms and conditions.

When we are getting old, there is always a lot of fear backing us.

  • Health issues
  • Financial insecurities
  • Depression and isolation
  • Lack of support
  • Mistreatment and abuse

These fears should washed away when there is a ray of hope which reflects the brighter side of life with faith, positivity, harmony and compassion. Our choices determines our life. A regret free evergreen life happens when one should have freed from all emotional baggages and started living for themselves. The twilight years ought to be the best years of a person’s life, free from the responsibilities of having to make a living, one finally has all the time to actually live. Sit in the shade, relieving the good old times, letting bad memories to fade such a mesmerising time.

How can we make our elderly years more joyful..?

1. Always maintain a sense of humour:-

Having a sense of humour towards life’s difficulties helps our bonding more stronger. Everyone likes a person who always maintain a smile and makes others smile. It helps to approach problems in a different angle to learn, to grow, to savor life in a colourful way.

2. Having a healthy lifestyle and exercise:-

For living a healthy and happy life we should always needed a balanced diet and regular exercise. However as our age progresses some changes will happen to our body such as slower metabolism, changes in our sense of smell and taste and lack of appetite. So it is important to have a healthy eating habit.

Through regular exercises we can maintain a healthy weight which decreases the risk of certain types of arthritis and diabetes.

3. Financial security and wise insurance plans:-

During the times of uncertainities and chaotic periods once prior concern is financial security. When it comes to adults having a financial security in terms of health insurance allows them to enjoy their retirement life. Every senior citizens have different health care requirements so its wise to choose insurance plans on the basis of current and future requirements.

4. Maintain a friend’s circle and a community out there:-

During advanced years, our mind always demands to be encircled with supportive groups. A well rounded and active friends group which motivates and inspires us are the most ecsatic experience one can get during their life journey. A positive vibe comes from a heart to heart conversation is something indefinable. So always being a part of a helpful network.

5. Travelling and exploring new things:-

Learning new things always give us pleasure. Exploring new places, people, cultures etc helps to widen our choices and makes golden periods more liberal.

6. Spend time for your hobbies:-

It is important for older people to stay physically and socially active. Picking up a hobby helps them reduce boredom and loneliness. Doing sports like football, swimming, squash, golf etc helps them to being physically active and bringing closer to the people.

7. Practise meditation and yoga to manage stress

Meditations and yoga helps to keep our mind relaxed and engaged, moreover it works against diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol etc and regulate our metabolism.

Old age is an astonishing time to sit back and enjoy your life. A bundle of life experiences helps us to think and act wiser, as a result we will get respect from all fields. Senior citizens have the privilege to take major decisions for their family, they are the head of the family tree and play a key role in raising their grandchildren.

There is a spring of youth in everyone’s mind irrespective of age. Evergreen life doesn’t mean everything in brighter side it means the way you are choosing your life during hardships and make it more brighter than before. Age is just a count if your wisdom is unstoppable. Always maintain a sparkle over extremities.

My struggle with presence of mind and how i tackled it?

Do you think presence of mind is just being in present?

Simple existence is not considered as presence of mind. Presence of mind is a state, which alert you to the purpose of each situation and helps to contribute your whole heart and soul into that purpose. When you are facing a difficult situation you have the way and smart thinking to get away from it, however at that point your mind is not active and you lost your presence of mind. The whole situation will go out of control. If you wish also you can’t make it possible.

I am also a person, who can easily get vanished from a particular situation. My mind always working with intuitions and perceptions which are correlated with what i seen and heared. If i am reading a story or seeing a particular situation i picturise the whole scenario in my mind and travel through my own realm, where my intutions and consciousness playing with a mountain of thoughts which i couldn’t even control. I can always being in a dream world so i got a nick name “Alice in Wonderland “.

Thinking always taken my mind eventhough i am occupied in a particular task. I sometimes feel that i got stuck in thoughts and can’t relate with what others are communicating with me. I always liked to own a stage. One day i got an opportunity to face a crowd for delivering a welcome speech. I prepared well and entered the stage but then with out any short notice one of the guest didn’t came and instead another one was replaced which the organizers told me at that moment only, so i didn’t get exact information about the new guest. I got tensed and my mind started giving me pressure i lost the procured courage and my presence of mind lost i couldn’t utter a word and not in a situation to take any spontaneous action. While seeing my nervousness on stage audience started cheering me up and encouraged me, so somehow i managed to complete the task without that much perfection i expected. Sometimes if we well prepared also some unexpected situations will come to test our confidence level so always be alert and maintain a mindset to act spontaneously.

I would like to narrate an incident which reflects the importance of presence of mind.

During my academic periods i was stayed in a hostel which was located in the outskirts of the city. In our hostel we have two securities working on shifts at that time. One day night around 9:30 one of them went for a break and forget to close the gate and left the key inside the lock, the other security was going to take duty. During that gap a stranger entered through the gate without anyone noticing into our hostel premises and came into the building and entered into one of our nearby rooms and started frightening the girls in the room, taking their mobiles and other things. They were all shell shocked and started screaming loudly, hearing this the stranger got confused and came outside running trying to escape. But that split second one of our hostel mate she had presence of mind and she tried to push him into the room and locked him from outside. By the time warden and securities came they informed police and stranger got arrested. By the next day we reached the class the news had spread as wild fire and we were trying to explain and tell them it was a very frightening incident and how one of our hostel mate tried to gather some courage to lock him inside the room. Everyone appreciated the presence of mind and courageous action of that hostel mate. This incident is a hard hitting example of presence of mind and how spontaneous action is important for a person’s life.

I sometimes felt regret to those situations where i couldn’t gain my presence of mind for taking productive decisions in life. Delay in actions made me to recognize less. Presence of mind is extremely important when we are approaching a profession. A doctor should always needed a presence of mind while doing surgeries. Self control is inevitable during stressful situations inorder to think and act in a calm way so that we can fully utilize our potential.

I always struggled to take a wise decision in life due to stress and inner pressure of being right or wrong. Hence it imbalanced my thinking and i can’t concentrate my mind to take a spontaneous decision during alarming situations. These bitter experiences obsessed me deeply, i literally needed a change so i started working on it. It takes patience and time for a small progress also, nothing will change overnight. I stay motivated and focused on my goal.

Here are the tips i followed to increase my presence of mind..!

1. Always be in the present :-

The present moment is where we live, past is the story, explanations and experiences of how you got to where you are today. Future is the probability of your expectations which may or may not happen.

Why we are always living in past?

We all are attached to our emotions, something in someway we can’t come out from those attachments. If a person’s dearest friend died in an accident which happened years ago but still his mental stage didn’t allow him to detach from the thoughts of his dearest friend, the same way life is always attached with various emotions like anxiety, pain, injustice, likes and dislikes, love, hate, self respect, ego etc which happened in past are haunting your present.

Practise your mind to tell “Be here now in present ” and realise past is the baggage of emotions which acts as a barrier for your success. It is just a wastage of time to think about the situations which we didn’t act properly and the opportunities we missed terribly. If you organize your decisions and be productive in your present life then don’t need to worry about future.

Remove all terms of distractions and highlight on present which is fresh and live. Practise some meditations to control your mind.

2. Listen carefully :-

The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand we listen to reply – unknown

An effective communication starts when we mindfully listen to others. Now a days silence become a scarce resource and we have forgotten how to listen, we only focused on how to present our opinions. We may believe that we are good listeners but listening is more than waiting for your turn to interrupt.

How listening related to presence of mind?

If you listen carefully to a person or a situation you can acquire more knowledge than others. Through this grasping power you can react better and quicker than others. Knowledge acquired through proper listening gives you more confident, it helps you to take wise decisions without any strain or pressure. Practise your mind to learn, observe and pay attention through reading books, listening to others, discovering environment, and exploring new things so that your mind is always active and presence of mind will become more sharper.

3. Control your emotions:-

Emotions are a kind of response your mind is giving to a particular situation. It is perfectly normal to experience some emotional overwhelm on occasions when something wonderful happens to you and the other end when anything terrible happens, we burst out in tears and may react in extreme ways. All are human nature and it is ok to express your emotions. If emotions start to feel out of control they can take a toll on your mental health, relationships and affects your presence of mind. We can’t take a fruitful decision on the basis of emotions.

Give yourself time to figure out your emotions. Channelise your energy towards some physical activity like going for a walk, swimming, a small ride etc which help you to bring positivity.

4. Manage stress:-

Meaning of stress starts from our way of life itself. Between juggling work, family and other commitments we become too stressed out and busy every day .

If a person attending a business meeting after having a conflict between his co-worker. What should be his mental stage?. He is physically present in the meeting but mind is already stressed out. How will he get a presence of mind? How will he perform and contribute for his company?

Stress management is the only solution to increase our presence of mind. Realise the fact that our problems, issues, insecurities, struggles all are pass, it is just a matter of time and nothing is stable.

Release your stress by go for a trip or an outing with your loved ones.

Try to be active in each and every moment so that your mind didn’t get a chance to overthink.

Try to be expert in at least one thing. Everyone is expert in a particular one thing that is there master piece and they loved to do it at any stressful situations and is considered as a mind changer.

Eg: some people get pleasure in cooking and cooking is their master piece. Some others writing and some one interested in singing, dancing etc.

All struggles in life teach you a lesson and mold you to the best version of yourself. My struggle with presence of mind made me to think and figure out intelligent ways to tackle it. A few years ago everything was different to me and this moment when i look back i realise that time can do a lot to a person and now i am a better version than before and still need to learn more.

Life changing transformation from 82kg to 57kg..!

Staying healthy and fit is the most challenging role every mother will face after delivery. I had gone through all phases of gaining weight during pregnancy. Feeling exhausted everytime and started suffering chronic backpain, which made me extremely difficult to carry my own baby or even do normal household chores. I reluctantly stay away from public because of getting bullied and isolated. I was completely devastated and felt depressed. It was an incredibly heartbreaking situation, from that point i realized i would desperately wanted to lose weight and get in shape.

I read a lot of weight loss stories and healthy tips to stay myself motivated. Had tried different diet plans and exercises but didn’t see any constant change. So I decided to prepare a weight loss plan, a healthy diet chart and an exercise routine by myself. As a mother of 8 month old baby i couldn’t get a time to hit gym at that time. I know it will take little more time for me to get in shape so i set my patience level high.

Before i started my journey i fixed a goal for myself, in a year time i will reduce 25kg and started working for it. The most challenging task was to plan a healthy routine for my body. While taking this in my mind i scheduled a routine. It goes like..

Started the day with hot water and lime

8am Breakfast: Oatsmilk, Dates and Mixed fruits smoothie

11am: Cucumber and Apple or Fruit salad

1pm : 1 bowl brown rice, half cup yogurt, Dal and vegetables

4pm: Orange juice, one hand full mixed nuts without cashew

7:30pm: 3 Chapati and veg curry

This was a 1400 calorie diet plan and a simplest one i prepared for myself.

Rules strictly followed:-

1. Consumed plenty of water

2. Completely avoided non vegetarian foods. ( somewhere i read that vegetarian foods have low calories and easy to digest so i incorporated that knowledge in my diet list)

3. Avoided snacks and oily foods. No outside foods.

4. Avoided tea and coffee

5. Daily 45minute yoga and 30 minute evening walk

Lessons learned from weight loss:-

When you are on a mission to lose weight you have to learn to be patient . Work really hard no matter how much time it took. Don’t give up. If something doesn’t work for you try a different approach or go for your own unique way instead of giving up.

This routine is highly recommended to housewives those who have no time and privilege to go to gym or having a personal dietician.
